Exams and 21st celebrations

I could eat like that all the time!

Hi everyone,

Sorry i've been away for a while! I had the week from hell doing all on my 1st semester 3rd year exams in 1 week. Let me tell you it was almost impossible the amount they expect you to know for each module! Every year from GCSEs, to A levels, to 1st, 2nd and 3rd year you're expected to know more and more. But with the help and support of friends and the boyfriend i lived to tell the tale! And i only have 1 more exam period to get through before i graduate in the summer!!

My housemate turned 21 during the week and as a surprise we treated her to a girly afternoon tea at Hey, Little Cupcake in Manchester. It was so lovely to spend time with my female housemates- we don't often have Girl's Time!

We gorged ourselves on sandwiches, scones, chocolate covered strawberries and mini cupcakes! We sipped hot chocolate, chatted and laughed the afternoon away- so much so that we were practically kicked out as they were setting up for a cupcake decorating class that evening!

So anyways I've just had a quiet weekend catching up on sleep and finally spending quality time with the people in my life! I'm back in lectures now though so didn't get a long break (37 days of solid work in exchange for 2 days off doesn't seem like very much!) But its nice not to have constant work and to have the time to paint my nails for the first time in months! It's definitely the little things in life :-)

The 4 of us :)
What have you been up to this weekend? Anything nice?
Becky xoxo

  1. Those cupcakes look amazing, there making m hungry aha! It must feel great to know that you only have one more exam period! I have GCSE's coming up next year so, I've still got plenty to look forward to! xx

    1. Yes we bought some full size cupcakes to take home with us for later heehee! Ah you have it all to come then! GCSEs were definitely the easiest content wise but the challenge was the sheer volume of them and working for 10 different subjects! Defintely all worth it for the summer you get afterwards though! Becky xx

  2. Hope your exams went okay! When do you get the results? I think mine went okay well i hope haha get the results 7th march the day after my 18th!, Boo :( Sounds like you had a nice weekend, those cupcakes look sooo yummy.

If I have done well in my english A2 i did last week then I will only have 1 exam in the summer -woo! I hope that is the case haha. At the weekend I went back to work after taking time off for exams, I worked friday and saturday. Felt weird after not b eing there for 3 weeks, but at least it's money :) xxx
